HSSP Teachers and Classes

HSSP teachers are MIT students, as well as members of the community. While our teachers are not certified, all are knowledgeable in their subject areas, and all are excited to teach awesome classes.

HSSP offers weekend classes on a wide variety of topics. This summer we are offering over fifty classes, including “South Asian History and Politics,” “Chemistry of the Elements,” “Conceptual Art,” and “The Science of a Bottle of Coke.” View Summer HSSP 2009 Course Catalog.

HSSP offers different classes every semester. We don’t usually know what classes we will be offering until a month or two before the start of the program. However, we tend to offer the same kinds of classes – interesting, quirky classes on math, engineering, science, social science, art – and some classes that defy categorization.
