Where and WhenPlease come to MIT Lobby 10 at 5:30 PM on Monday, July 9th (directions are below). This is the first day of Junction; classes will be operating on a shortened schedule after check-in and some orientation activities. We’ll try to get you acquainted with your teachers and give you a chance to meet fellow students. The schedule is:
On a typical day of Junction, the entire time (5:30 - 9:30 PM) will be spent in classes except for a 30-minute dinner break. The break is at 7:30 PM on Monday and Wednesday, and 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. What to BringFirstly, we recommend that you don’t bring food on the first day, since we’re having a barbecue! After Monday, you’re welcome to bring dinner, or buy something to eat while you’re here. Please print and fill out the Junction student agreement, and have your parents fill out our medical and liability forms. The forms are available at the following links: We cannot let you into the program unless we have all of these forms completed and signed! Please also bring payment for tuition. The fee for this program is $200 for one class, or $300 for two classes; if you are receiving financial aid, please bring the amount that you have received via e-mail. Please pay with a check, made out to “MIT ESP” (without the quotes). We will accept cash, but really prefer checks. Where to GoRegistration will be in the lobby of building 10 from 5:30-6:00 PM. Here is an online map highlighting building 10: If you arrive after 6:00 PM, you can go to the Junction office, in room 2-131, in order to check in. After the first day, someone will always be in the office from 5:30 - 9:30 PM. Should you need to reach us, our phone number is 617-253-4882.
