Spark will run on one Saturday, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with lunch at 1 pm and check-in opening at 8:00 am. Classes will be held on MIT’s main campus.
Classes can run from one to four hours, and students can take as many or as few classes as they wish within the bounds of the program. All teachers are students of MIT and other community members. Past classes have encompassed a variety of fields, including topics mathematics, literature, science, arts, sports, and more.
If your child has any physical handicaps, please inform us ahead of time so we can make suitable arrangements. If your child has any other special needs, please inform us. While we will work with your child to the best of our ability, our teachers are college students and are not trained in how to handle special needs children.
Spark registration will begin in mid February. We will email out before registration begins.
