Grade range exception requests are closed at this time.

Below is the information about how grade range exceptions are working this year.

The below form applies only for specific classes within Splash. It does NOT allow you to request to attend Splash if you are below the minimum age/grade. You must be in 7th grade or above to register for Splash, without exception. Please see here for more details on why this is our policy.

You may apply for up to 3 exceptions. Please remember that even if your application is complete, you are in no way guaranteed to get into the class you request. It is up to our teachers whether or not they accept these requests. Also, even if a teacher is willing to accept you in their class, the lottery will give priority to students in the correct range.

You don't need to request the class in the lottery also; this will be taken care of for you if your request is accepted. Also, please note that we will NOT be notifying you individually whether or not your request got accepted. You will either see the class in your schedule, or you won't.

These exception requests will only be accepted during the lottery phase and not during the class changes phase. You will also not be able to class change into a class you had already requested.
