Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a lifetime learner, a voracious reader and passionate questioner. As an undergraduate, I studied Comparative Religion at Harvard, although my eventual undergrad degree is in Chemistry and from the University of Michigan. I have always appreciated the truths available both through science *and* humanities.

My hobbies include READING (of course), running, writing letters, knitting, oddball percussive musical instruments (a didjeridoo and "the bones"), dancing contra and English Country Dance, and generally involving great people in my life.

I am a wide-eyed student of the universe, and I never intend to graduate from that program!

L1455: Darshan: a View into Hinduism in HSSP Summer 2008 (Jun. 29, 2008)
Even the gods have something to learn in Hinduism--and we have a lot to learn about the world through them, too. Come take trips with me into the worlds of Hindu story, art, and thought. Here, the same god may be enountered as a helpless infant, a fun-loving youth, or the Lord of All Creation. Now, the universe is in one of its infinite rebirths, as are each of the people. Come see into a very old way of thinking--and bring something new back into your thought.
