Brief Biographical Sketch:
So I'm at MIT for math and science, but I also LOVE art (not that they're mutually exclusive). I'm from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I plan to major 18C (that's math and theoretical computer science). My artistic interests are on the fringes of classically defined art and include collage, tie-dying, white board art, and, occasionally, some beautiful mathematical proofs. Additionally, I enjoy cooking, backpacking, watching movies, and, right now, I'm learning sign language. The classes I teach for ESP are almost always multidisciplinary, as in, even if it's filed under math, it will probably have enough of either physics, computer science, natural science, and/or philosophy in it to be alternatively filed under at least a few other sections. I almost never have prerequisites, but most of my classes require significant class participation and the ability to follow and make interesting and often complex logical arguments. (of course, some of my classes are just pure awesomeness and humor, others pure creation) In general, don't think too hard, just sign up and brace yourself. -- Zandra
