Voicemail Announcement

MIT has been upgrading its phone and voicemail system (from ISDN to VoIP); they recently upgraded the student-group phone system, including the ESP office phones and voicemailbox.

Unfortunately, due to upgrade failures, we haven’t had access to our voicemailbox for about a week, and any messages prior to this week are believed to have been deleted. (MIT’s Final Exam period was relatively recent; ESP is an all-student organization and we were fairly busy with final exams at that time, so unfortunately we believe a substantial backlog of messages was deleted.)

Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience; we’re working to get voicemail back as soon as possible. In the meantime, as always, we’re best at responding to e-mail; feel free to contact us at esp@mit.edu. If you left a voicemail recently, feel free to e-mail us, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Voicemail Update

Update: We have now re-gained access to our voicemail, and we have access to all voicemail sent since mid-day on June 2nd. We have been processing old voicemail and calling people back; if you have not received a call yet, feel free to e-mail us. Our current voicemail system saves recorded voicemails and transmits them to us as e-mail attachments, sent to esp@mit.edu. So, if you're able to just send us a text e-mail at that address, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your patience, and our apologies for the inconvenience.
