Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a junior at MIT in Biology and Biological Engineering. Once I'm done here, I plan on pursuing an MD/PhD. I'm very interested in global healthcare, especially how research can improve the quality of healthcare provided to people in developing countries. I also love drawing and painting. I'm from Seattle, WA, but Boston is a second home to me.

H1141: Drawing with Pastels in Spark! Spring 2008 (Mar. 08, 2008)
This will be a brief, single day version of last spring's introduction to chalk pastels. The class will be in a pastel workshop format, with instruction on basic techniques. Pastels and paper will be supplied, as well as some still life scenes, but students may bring their own photographs or magazine pictures for inspiration.
