Brief Biographical Sketch:

Maria is a Masters of Engineering Student at MIT who is majoring in computer science and minoring in math and classics. She was born in Egypt but moved to NY 9 years ago. Many years ago, she participated in Hampshire College Summer Studies in Math (hcssim.org), and there she learned a lot about yellow pigs, 17 and origami. She really enjoys doing math and reading history, so it all works out well :D
