Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am 29 years old and I currently live in Arlington, Massachusetts. I grew up in Burlington, VT and have played chess since I was 5. I began playing at the local chess club at age 9 and soon began traveling to many distant locations to play in tournaments. Over the years I have played in tournaments in locations as diverse as England, Arizona, and South Dakota. I also was an instructor for a number of years at a summer chess camp. I have also given private lessons to a number of players over the years. Outside of chess I am a lawyer who is interested is interested in other strategic card and board games (bridge, shogi, etc.) and sports.
