Brief Biographical Sketch:

At the moment, I teach psychology at Curry College, crochet, raise fish, write obsessively, study a lot, and play video games. Prior to now, I received my PhD in neuroscience in 2009 at BU. During that time, I researched the amazing phenomenon of synesthesia at the Vision and Cognition Laboratory under the supervision of Alice Cronin-Golomb and Catherine Harris.

H6407: Our Terrifying Legal System! in Splash! 2012 (Nov. 17 - 18, 2012)
Did you know that police can get innocent people to confess to crimes 90% of the time? How about that something as simple as wearing glasses can increase the chances that you’ll be found innocent of a crime? This course will look at all the peculiar, scientific, and downright terrifying ways in which our judicial system (doesn’t) work. From bogus police practices to missing evidence to (supposedly) mind-controlling the jury, this will be a journey through the terrifying mess that is our judicial system.
