Program Vitals

What? Cascade is our fall program for local Boston ninth and tenth grade students who are underrepresented at our other programs. Many of the students do not have access to similar extracurricular academic programs. Students take two classes and have lunch together every week.
When? Cascade 2016 will run for five weeks from October 8th to November 5th. The program will go from 10am to 2pm every Saturday, with a lunch break in the middle from 11:30am–12:30pm. Teachers will either teach from 10:30–11:30am or 12:30–2:00pm.
Who? You, of course!
Where? All classes will be held on MIT's campus.
How? Apply to teach for Cascade. Hands-on activities, discussions, problem-solving, and other forms of interactive learning are essential to the classes. We welcome classes on all academic subjects, ranging from the sciences to the humanities.
