Brief Biographical Sketch:

I have been an editor for many years in New York, currently at More magazine; I've also taught fiction writing in the MFA program at Columbia University and at the Summer Literary Seminars in St Petersburg, Russia. I have published a collection of short stories and a novel, and have a new collection out next year. My long-ago degree is from Brown University.
