H16303: Intro to Negotiation in Splash Fall 2025 (Nov. 22 - 23, 2025)
Are you conflict-averse? Or do you like arguing a little too much? Do you sometimes hear "it's not what you said, it's the way you said it"? Or do you know enough to tell an interaction is going badly, but not enough to fix it? How can we be better leaders in our personal and academic lives? How do we balance increasing the total payoff with claiming a fair share of that increase? We explore this problem together using research and exercises from negotiation theory/psychology.

S15541: Poison! in Spark 2023 (Mar. 18 - 19, 2023)
Poisons are all around us. Sometimes natural, like death angel mushrooms, and sometimes put there by humans, like lead pipes and paint. Come learn about why and how everything is out to kill us, humanity's strange history with poison, and a little bit (but not too much) chemistry!

S15129: Avian Aerodynamics in Splash 2022 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2022)
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the physics of flight! We'll be taking a birds-eye view of aerodynamics, then focus on the anatomies of various feathery friends and how that allows them to complete incredible feats such as flying nonstop for over 10,000 kilometers. If you love birds and/or want to learn more about how things move through the air, join us! No prior physics knowledge required.
