Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi! My name's Francisco and I'm a 3rd year student at MIT.

I find biology and circuits really interesting and want to build cool things when we combine both of them. I'm currently an undergraduate researcher at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research where I study how the body responds to the foreign materials in medical implants.

I'm also pursuing a minor in Political Science. Scientists and engineers don't work in a bubble so I think it's important that we know a lot about the political and social systems we deal with. I also work in the Office of Minority Education at MIT.

If any of the things I do sound interesting to you feel free to ask me questions or talk to me about any of it. Looking forward to having some of you in my class!
