Brief Biographical Sketch:

Harsh Bhundiya is a PhD candidate in the MIT Aerospace Materials and Structures Laboratory. His research interests lie at the intersection of spacecraft design and structural mechanics. Currently, he is researching a concept for manufacturing large structures in space from a spool of wire feedstock. Born in India, Harsh grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech in 2020.
