S14893: FRUIT SNACKS!!!! with a side of some Biology in Spark 2022 (Mar. 12 - 13, 2022)
Ever wonder what fruit snacks and your skin have in common? No? Well we have and the answer is collagen and crosslinking! Come join us in learning about the world of biochemistry and biomaterials and how special molecules like gelatin, collagen, and alginate can form gels that make anything from gelatin to the material that makes up a good portion of your own body! This class will also include a follow along demo of how to make fruit snacks. So if nothing else, come make fruit snacks with us.

E14455: Yeeting Rockets in Spark 2021 (Mar. 13 - 27, 2021)
Ever wanted to learn how people yeet giant hunks of metal into space through the power of explosions, aerodynamics, and physics? Have you ever wanted to yeet something into space yourself? Then this is the class for you. We will be talking about how rockets function and work, and we will talk about how you yourself can get started on your own rocket science journey (or continue one if you have already started)!

E14270: Yeeting Rockets in Splash 2020 (Nov. 14 - 15, 2020)
Interested in rocket science and sending giant hunks of metal, carbon fiber, and explosive chemicals into space? MIT's rocket team has got you covered with an introductory lecture into the science behind yeeting rockets. We will cover some of the physics, chemistry, and engineering principles behind building rockets that go into space. We will also teach you about how you yourself can get started on the journey of becoming a rocket scientist and even how to start building your own rockets!
