Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi! I'm Ruchika, a second-year Computer Science Honors student at Northeastern University with a minor in Computer Engineering . I spent my first year of college at Northeastern's London campus before continuing in Boston. I did undergraduate research at NYU AD's labs, where I use machine learning to study knot theory and the Volume Conjecture, and I also work on recommendation systems and cybersecurity. Outside research, I was the Co-President of Husky Robotics London and co-founded a tech startup, Bridgr Technologies. Math has been my thing for a long time: I won a Gold Medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad ( ranked first in my country) and also nationally won KenKen International Championship. I love showing people that the weirdest-looking math often turns out to be the most useful, and I'm excited to share that at Splash!
