Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a junior at MIT studying Materials Science and Engineering. I grew up on Cape Cod, and have had a lifelong interest in the ocean and how people interact with the environment. I have enjoyed my childhood summers along the coastline, digging quahogs (a type of clam) and turning them into delicious meals, kayaking and bike riding, doing research at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and working for GE.
