M11470: Practical Calculus - A Crash Course in HSSP Summer 2017 (Jul. 09, 2017)
Calculus, more than any other subject, is fundamental to understanding every branch of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. This course serves as a practical introduction to the most important parts of calculus. We won't belabor nitty gritty technicalities; rather, we'll focus on the parts of calculus that scientists and engineers use every day. Examples taken from various branches of science and engineering.

C9493: Introduction to Digital Electronics in HSSP Summer 2015 (Jul. 12, 2015)
Digital circuits are everywhere, but how do they work? How does hardware let us run our computer programs? This course offers a hands-on introduction, from the ground up, to the technology that powers our computers, phones, cars, and nearly everything else. We will build something in every class! We will begin with transistors and build up through logic gates to more complicated circuits. By the end of the course, students will be able to design their own digital clock, basic calculator, and more!
