Brief Biographical Sketch:

Alison loves learning how microbes are everywhere doing insane things - making our food taste better, our bodies healthier, and environments cleaner. She thinks they're just amazing! Of course, they can do evil, too, but they don't even realize it. Alison hopes to pursue research in the future that capitalizes on all the good they can do, like making dirty water pure and harnessing energy from the sun for human use. And, she wants to inspire others to, so don't hesitate to ask her any questions, because she'd love to help you understand more about the microbial world!
