M6897: A Quick Glimpse into Abstract Algebra in Spark! 2013 (Mar. 16, 2013)
Algebra!! It's much more fun than calculus!! This is a short class modeled off of the MIT class 18.701 [Algebra I], taught by the famous professor Michael Artin. Topics include group theory, vector spaces, linear operators. symmetry, bilinear forms, and many other fun stuff if time permits.

M6898: Crash Course in Vector Calculus in Spark! 2013 (Mar. 16, 2013)
Ever looked some physics/math stuff up on Wikipedia and get a page full of fearful-looking math symbols, like $$\nabla^2 f$$, $$\left(\frac{\partial y}{\partial x}\right)_\theta$$, or $$\oint_C B\cdot ds $$? Here’s your chance to know what they actually mean! (not everything on Wikipedia, obviously, but it’ll let you decipher a lot of stuff). Vector calculus is also known as multivariable calculus. What we are doing is basically extending the concepts of single-variable calculus to 3 dimensions and beyond. Class modeled off of the MIT class 18.02: Calculus II.
