Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hello! My name is Andie Zhou, and I'm a Bay Area native studying game design at NYU's Game Center. I got my undergraduate degree in architecture at the University of Arizona, but realized by the end that I wanted more creative freedom in my profession and made the switch to game design.
If you're interested in some of my work, my portfolio website can be found at azxzhou.com, and some of the games I've made are posted at azxzhou.itch.io.

P15921: The Critically Acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 (And Its Decade-Long Story) in Spark 2024 (Mar. 16 - 17, 2024)
You've probably heard the copypasta - a free trial up to level 60! Includes the first expansion Heavensward! No restrictions on playtime! What is this game and why is it all over your Twitter timeline? (Also, the free trial goes up to level 70 now.) Memes aside, the game's 10th anniversary was last June - and its rags-to-riches development process from its initial disastrous launch serves as one of the most incredible examples of how good developers can turn a dumpster fire into what is arguably one of Square Enix's most successful games. **This class will largely be an overview of FFXIV's continued development process and will not contain any major story spoilers. New and curious players are more than welcome!
