Brief Biographical Sketch:

One day in eighth grade, while "researching" for a school project, I found an online art gallery of every chemical element reimagined as a human character! Of course, I had to make my own manga version with my friends. And as I researched the history and properties of each element, I fell in love with them... the toxic ones in particular. A lot happened after that -- I took AP Chemistry and even got to shadow at NASA, which influenced my shift to materials science -- but it's really crazy how much a little procrastination influenced my life! My goal is to give you a little of that odd inspiration today.
Some other things about me -- I love writing, reading, drawing, teaching, Russian language, and music. I was born in Puerto Rico, but grew up in Virginia. I'm a Christian, and I thank God for the wonderful opportunities he's given me. I hope to be a professor one day... maybe we'll cross paths again!
