Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi! My name is Becca, and I am a first year PhD student in the Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences department at MIT. I'm a geologist, and I study Earth history using paleomagnetism (magnetic records left in rocks) and field techniques (I go out and camp in the wilderness for weeks at a time looking for cool rocks). I've taught a few Earth and space science classes for Splash before (all super fun), and can't wait to share EVEN MORE cool facts about the planet we call home with you all :)
