Brief Biographical Sketch:
I attended high school in Sacramento, CA where I graduated with the International Baccalaureate Diploma from Mira Loma High School. Biology has been a passion of mine since middle school when I began to participate in Science Olympiad in many bio-related events. Though I did not take the AP Bio Exam, I have taken two other AP exams as well as the SAT Subject Test in Molecular Biology and the IB Higher Level Exam for Biology. I am currently excited to be starting my major in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (Go Ecology!). I look forward to teaching for Delve as an opportunity to become involved with the surrounding community by sharing my interest in biology. This will be my second year of living on the East Coast so I'm still relatively Northern Californian (e.g. I recycle everything, drink from a Nalgene, still love when it snows, and am awed by public transit). Aside from being devoted to my schooling, I am a frisbee enthusiast and I love to read and listen to music of all kinds. Cooking and baking keep me sane in this stressful world.
