Past Classes

(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)

S7359: Introduction to organic chemistry in Splash! 2013 (Nov. 23 - 24, 2013)
Drawing organic molecules, arrow pushing, frontier molecular orbital theory, basic reaction mechanisms.

S6235: Introduction to organic chemistry in Splash! 2012 (Nov. 17 - 18, 2012)
Drawing organic molecules, arrow pushing, frontier molecular orbital theory, basic reaction mechanisms.

W5398: Get your (biology) questions answered! in Splash! 2011 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2011)
You have questions? We have answers. Come ask us ANYTHING you want about biology! How can we sequence DNA? What makes slime molds awesome? How does the immune system work? Why don't antibiotics poison humans? How do Venus flytraps do that? Why don't all mutations cause cancer? What is selenocysteine? How could evolution produce life as we know it?

S5440: DNA Topology in Splash! 2011 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2011)
What shape is a strand of DNA? Everyone knows it's a double helix. But what exactly does that imply? Come learn about the topological constraints on DNA, and how the cell copes with them!
