Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Candace and I'm a junior here at MIT. I'm thrilled to be teaching for SPLASH!

I've always been fascinated by the life sciences. At an early age, I fostered a great appreciation of the natural world and was eager to discover how it worked. I transferred my curiosity and love for life science into creating children’s books; I have written and illustrated nine books, which communicate science through fictional story lines.

On campus, I am currently doing neuroscience research at the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory.
