Brief Biographical Sketch:

I hold a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University. Between the time that I achieved my two degrees, I worked as a database software developer, pharmacy technician, high school science teacher, and MIT OpenCourseWare department liaison. I am now self-employed as an accountant. I enjoy hiking, reading, drawing, teaching, and public speaking.

X7285: Speechcraft: An Introduction to Public Speaking in HSSP Summer 2013 (Jul. 07, 2013)
Are you afraid of speaking to a class of students? Or do you want to learn how to speak better in front of an audience? This 7-week workshop will help you to work on picking a topic, organizing your speech, using body language, developing vocal variety, and speaking off-the-cuff. The course's philosophy is learning-by-doing. Participants will be required to write, prepare, and deliver 2 original speeches.
