M15067: Optimization in Graph Theory in HSSP Summer 2022 (Jul. 09, 2022)
Interested in how tools from optimization can be applied to solve exciting questions in graph theory? This class first introduces these questions, such as graph coloring and shortest paths, then studies how tools from optimization and integer programming can be used to generate optimal, or near optimal solutions. Applications to real world situations, such as distribution networks and scheduling, will be presented when possible.
