Brief Biographical Sketch:

I grew up in Northern Virginia just outside of DC. After high school, I attended Princeton University where I studied physics and received my arts bachelor degree in physics in 2019. As an undergraduate, my research focused on precision measurement and quantum computing and quantum simulation. After graduating from Princeton, I worked for 18 months at a proprietary trading firm where I researched and wrote algorithms to trade power grid derivatives. I have now returned to physics and am a first year graduate student at MIT working on detector technology for the LIGO gravitational wave detectors.
