Brief Biographical Sketch:

Jamile Falcao is an MIT junior studying Management with a longstanding passion for mathematics and education. She competed in Mathematics Olympiads for six consecutive years, earning numerous awards, including a bronze medal at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), which she attended at age 14. Beyond competing, Jamile has taught Olympiad Mathematics in Brazil for over a year, with a particular focus on Geometry and Combinatorics. Her students have gone on to compete in prestigious international competitions, including the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), Romanian Master of Mathematics, and EGMO. After graduating from MIT, Jamile hopes to pursue a career in education and contribute to making high-quality education more accessible. Outside of mathematics, she enjoys painting, reading, and exploring the arts.
