This course will cover the basics of the Latin language--case, the 1st and 2nd declensions, the 1st conjugation, and just enough vocabulary to be able to put it all together.

X12456: Labelling the Earth around Us in Splash 2018 (Nov. 17 - 18, 2018)
In this course, students will explore concepts such as land, easements, roads, and other rights-of-way, drawing on examples from Massachusetts. Students will then apply these concepts to better understand structures such as sidewalks, private ways, and ‘paper streets’. Students will also learn how to make use of various tools to further explore this genre of geographic information, and make sense of it in legal and historical contexts.
