Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Kayode and I am a Nigerian American from New York and a recent MIT graduate from the Class of 2017.

Throughout my time at MIT, I have been blessed to learn a number of advanced problem-solving techniques in Computer Science and the humanities, but that was expected from the start. However, I never could have guessed how much I would learn outside of the classroom through extra-curricular engagement.

I have been blessed with so many opportunities in leadership, primarily in the African community, in which I helped to develop the community for most of my time at MIT. Additionally, I was fortunate to find a platform to hone my skills as a bass singer in the Chorallaries, the school's elite a cappella group.

My prior teaching experiences has been in high school as a Cathecist at Sunday school and in college as a caring friend who wants the best for those who help, but are struggling to find the resources.

When I am not working, I love to read, write, sing, and play/watch basketball.

I am truly excited to take part in this experience with you! This is a new experience for me and I am excited to learn as much as I am to teach :)
