A7195: Spark Concert Choir in Spark! 2013 (Mar. 16, 2013)
Do you like to sing? Want to learn more about singing? We'll do some fun rounds and fugues, some folk song call-and-response, and then we'll try out a famous classical choral piece.

S6732: SETI: Filling out the blanks in Splash! 2012 (Nov. 17 - 18, 2012)
You've been obsessed with aliens and outer space since you were 7. You've combed through the jungle of scifi. You get excited every time you hear about the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. And you've looked at Drake's equation and have no idea how to fill it in. Come learn about the chemistry, physics and astronomy that tell us what we know and can hope about extraterrestrial life. What has been done? Why do we bother looking? What have we found?

S5746: Chemistry with Logic (and a bit of common sense) in Spark! 2012 (Mar. 10, 2012)
You have before you, 4 unlabeled bottles of clear solution. You know they each contain something different, and you're given a generous supply of beakers; nothing else. How would you go about figuring out what each of them are, and under what circumstances would you be able to come to an answer? You have a supply of nitrogen air, which is contaminated with oxygen, ammonia, water, and nitrogen dioxide. How would you get rid of the contaminants, and in what order must you do that? This class will focus on applying a few basic chemistry principles and a healthy supply of common sense to a wide range of logic problems, building the intuition needed to use qualitative knowledge flexibly.
