Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a junior at MIT and love math, cs, and teaching people of all ages! In high school, I was captain of my math team and spent lots of time practicing with my team members and teaching younger members of the team. I spent a month in Israel last summer at an Ecological Greenhouse building a water "computer" that could add numbers! I also love hiking, biking and the outdoors.

C10635: How Computers Work in Splash 2016 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2016)
Ever wondered how your computer does simple things like adding numbers, or more complicated things like running fancy programs? Come learn about how computers work from the ground up. We'll talk about some of the low level hardware involved (like transistors) and work up to logic gates, full adders, and more!

M10820: How big is Infinity? in Splash 2016 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2016)
In this class we'll talk about some big big numbers...and then some numbers that are even bigger than that! We'll start with discussing the sizes of various sets of numbers - integers, prime numbers, real numbers, rational numbers. You'll get to solve some crazy brainteasers, try to make an infinite amount of money, and discover how normal logic collapses as n goes to infinity.
