Brief Biographical Sketch:

Maryam graduated from MIT in 2012 with a BS in Chemistry. After spending some time as a graduate student researcher at Columbia University, she is now back at MIT working as a research assistant in MIT Anthropology, where she is pursuing her research interest in the area of Internet culture. Maryam is an avid knitter, hot yoga novice, and baker.
