Brief Biographical Sketch:

I graduated from MIT in 2011 with a degree in Physics, but I've always been more of an engineer at heart. I've taught Science, Video Game Design, Robotics, Photography, and lots of other classes as a counselor at Mazemakers in Wellesley, MA, and I'm excited to keep sharing my love of science through Splash.

In my (rare) free time, I play piano, take photos, and work on silly projects, from a Skittle-sorting machine to a 60-foot-long vertical wooden roller coaster.

A6674: Hand Drawn Holograms in Splash! 2012 (Nov. 17 - 18, 2012)
Holograms are awesome, but they're too expensive and difficult to produce to be an easy art form...until now! In this class, I will teach you how to make abrasion holograms by hand using just a compass and a sheet of plastic. You can create a simple 3D hologram in just a few minutes, or you can spend hours creating your holographic masterpiece. You'll be able to create 3D shapes and images, and even create pictures that change as you move them around. It's going to be awesome!
