Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a full-blooded Russian, but have been living in the US since I was 5. I'm in the MIT class of 2012, studying biology and hopefully applying to medical school once I get to that point... but to be honest, I don't quite know what I want because everything is so interesting :-p. I find that Bio and bio-ish things are most exciting for me, but I have a special love for literature and philosophy as well.
I remember my first career goal being a piano teacher because my piano teacher back in Russia seemed so awesome to me, but I've become somewhat less idealistic since then- I do still love to help people learn and understand things, though. In bio, I like explaining the way things work and how all of the little facts come together into something more or less complete, which is what makes it so interesting to me.

At the moment, my spare time is consumed by ballroom dance: practices and competitions with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team. I am, however, very much looking forward to teaching with Delve.
