Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a 2nd-year graduate student at MIT's SMarchS Architecture Design program graduating in June 2020. My trajectory is structured around both theory and practice, interrogating how architecture can become better mediated to its users. My research interests revolve around user-centered design of both small and large scale ranging from architectural design to computational geometry and digital fabrication. In this context, in the fall term of 2018, as a Teaching Assistant at MIT I taught the undergraduate design studio "Introduction to Design Techniques and Technologies" by Axel Kilian and Zain Karsan, diving into generative design, electronics, and ineractive interfaces. Next, in the spring term of 2019, I was William O'Brien Jr.'s Teaching Assistant for the graduate architecture design studio "Architecture Design Studio Core II", engaging with the research and design of a YMCA in Coney Island.

A13337: 2D > 3D > 2D : Intro to Digital Design & Fabrication in Splash 2019 (Nov. 23 - 24, 2019)
Curious about contemporary design tools and digital fabrication? Want to learn a few of the basic skills designers use to develop, visualize, and test their ideas? This course will provide an introduction to the world of digital design, including techniques for 3D modeling, 2D templating, and rapid prototyping. The course should interest students with an interest in architecture, animation, fine art, and digital design. No experience necessary!
