Asad has been interested in biology since high school and has worked on topics as diverse as stem cells, tissue engineering, cancer nanotechnology, neuroscience and genetics. He enjoys fencing, long walks in the sun (seriously, he's from Texas), badminton, tennis, eating, and traveling.
