E5311: Introduction to Graphene in Splash! 2011 (Nov. 19 - 20, 2011)
You will make tiny flakes of single layer Graphene (~0.5 nm). You will learn a little bit about the physics and properties of Graphene and how it is different from normal semiconductors and metals. You will learn about some of the potential applications of Graphene. You will also learn about why scientific research and new technologies are essential to economic growth and development.
