C4596: Thinking Like a Computer Scientist in Spark! 2011 (Mar. 12, 2011)
Computer science is not just about programming. This class will delve on the thinking aspect of Computer Science that is very essential in being a computer scientist/engineer. We will be doing activities such as identifying erroneous statements, unlocking codes, and solving puzzles of information. Unlike most Computer Science classes, this class will not involve any programming at all - in fact, you are not expected to have some programming background.

C3975: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming in Splash! 2010 (Nov. 20 - 21, 2010)
This class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of computer science to students with little or no programming experience. We will start talking about computational techniques to solve problems and understand the way computer scientists think. We will spend the rest of the class creating simple programs. This class will use Python programming language. More information about Python is available at http://python.org
