Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hello fellow reader!

I was born and grew up in Lima, Peru. When I was 14, I migrated to the U.S., attended high school in Homestead, FL, learned English, and somehow ended up at MIT.

I developed an addiction to the arts at an early age, with a special predilection for drawing and dancing. After learning English in high school, I realized that languages are a wonderful thing, which drove me to study Portuguese and German. Similarly, experimenting and learning new sports has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I have competed in regional swimming, played varsity volleyball, obtained a black belt in Choong Shim Do, and am currently in the process of learning figure skating and Japanese archery.

All in all, I love learning with a passion and always wish to give the opportunity to someone else. Especially young kids! Thanks to this, I've been a ESP teacher since my freshman spring.
