H15086: How to learn any language in HSSP Summer 2022 (Jul. 09, 2022)
Do you have a language that you'd like to learn? Or maybe more than one? In this course we'll talk to you about tips and free tools (some of which I'm sure you have never thought of) to improve your language learning process! And not only that: we'll also give you the time and space to actually implement some of these tips and try-out some of these tools! Finally, we'll have open discussions to brainstorm other ways in which we can improve our learning.

X15025: How to Run a Spark! in Spark 2022 (Mar. 12 - 13, 2022)
Have you ever wondered what goes into creating a program like Spark? Come listen to directors past and present discuss what it's like to create Spark. We hope you enjoy our fiery class!

E14835: The Magic of Transistors in Splash 2021 (Nov. 20 - 21, 2021)
Have you ever heard of transistors? Do you want to learn what transistors do and how to use them in circuits? In this class, we will go over how transistors operate and how to use them in some common analog circuits. We'll teach you all about several types of transistor-based circuits, such as single-transistor amplifiers, differential pairs, and cascodes!

S14565: Intro to Electronics in HSSP Summer 2021 (Jul. 10 - 31, 2021)
Have you ever wanted to learn how to design and analyze circuits? If so, this is the class for you! We'll teach you the basics of circuitry, and then delve into more advanced topics based on student interest. And with lab kits that we'll send out to you, you'll be able to build your very own circuits using principles from the class!

E14498: Intro to Electronics in Spark 2021 (Mar. 13 - 27, 2021)
Ever heard the terms voltage and current and wondered what they meant? Have you ever wanted to learn how to build your own simple circuits? If so, this is the class for you! We'll teach you the basics of circuitry. Then, with lab kits that we'll send out to you, you'll be able to build your very own circuits using principles from the class!

X14523: How to Run a Spark! in Spark 2021 (Mar. 13 - 27, 2021)
Ever thought about what happens behind-the-scenes when you sign up for Spark classes? Or how all of our teachers and classes fit into MIT's Zoom rooms? Spark takes months to plan, and for good reason. Come learn how we make Spark happen every year!

E14186: Intro to Analog Transistor Circuits in Splash 2020 (Nov. 14 - 15, 2020)
Have you ever heard of transistors? Do you want to learn what transistors do and how to use them in circuits? In this class, we will go over how transistors operate and how to use them in some common analog circuits. You will learn how to design and analyze several types of transistor-based circuits, such as single-transistor amplifiers, differential pairs, and cascodes. We will consider parameters such as gain, input/output resistance, and frequency response. As time allows, we may move on to topics like temperature sensors, current mirrors/active loading, translinear circuits, op-amp architectures, or analog/digital converters.

X13916: How to Run a Spark! in Spark 2020 (Mar. 14 - 15, 2020)
Ever thought about what happens behind-the-scenes when you sign up for Spark classes? Or how all of our teachers and classes fit into MIT's classrooms? Spark takes months to plan, and for good reason. Come learn how we make Spark happen every year!

A13939: Intro to Lighting Production and Design in Spark 2020 (Mar. 14 - 15, 2020)
Learn about the fundamentals of proper lighting design and production with a brief discussion of history, equipment, and the technical aspect of lighting, followed by a practical hands-on demonstration of how to create an awesome lighting show!
