These are some of the topics that will be covered in this class, in addition to the effects due to the Earth's axis tilt and various tidbits about the Moon, its phases, and other planets. The class is meant to be an introductory course: no theories about controversial theories will be discussed, and numbers and equations will hardly be introduced. If you are familiar with the topics mentioned above, you will be bored in this class and it probably isn't for you.
