Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm from outside of Chicago. I love the classics, art history, and traveling. I also love chemistry and material science. I'm majoring in Course 3 (Material Science) at MIT. My dream once I finish my first career is to go to Wisconsin and open a hot chocolate shop/art gallery.

If you read the title of this course and didn't know what was going on, maybe you figured it's just some MIT voodoo, or maybe you're already a material science lover. Either way this course is for YOU! Come learn about what the heck material science is from a real life person that dedicated her 4 years at MIT to learning about it. Also we will talk about the epic mind control and nature manipulation that goes on in material science labs right here at MIT! Oh and we may have some cool material take homes for you all!

Come grab a cup of some hot chocolate or tea and talk about art. It's what all the hipster high schoolers are doing. Seriously, from van Gogh chopping off his own ear to some Da Vinci conspiracies, come learn some crazy art stories and discuss some of the most famous pieces of art in history. Cookies will be given based on participation.
