Interested in applying for Junction? Here’s how:
-
Create an account. If you already have an ESP account, log in. Otherwise, register an account and fill out a student profile. Note: you must use a student account, not a parent account, to apply for Junction.
-
Browse our mentor biographies! We have selected a diverse team of six mentors who will each choose seven students to guide through their independent studies or projects for the duration of the summer including the days of Junction. Find out who you want to apply to work with by reading all about them here.
-
Apply. Once you’re logged in and have an idea of what to propose and who you want to work with, you’ll be able to fill out our online application form. After you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
The application consists of a independent study or project proposal, short answer responses and a submission of past work. For more detail on the individual questions in the application, see our Guide to the Student Application.
The cost of Junction is $600. However, we are committed to allowing all students attend Junction regardless of ability to pay for the program. You will be able to apply for financial aid after completing the student application. Financial aid awards are made independently of admissions decisions so applying for financial aid will NOT affect your chances of admission to the program.
